1. Confirm Legal Agreements:
Ask the lead the following questions clearly and concisely:
•Signed Agreements:
“Out of the attorneys you have spoken to or worked with, did you sign a contract or any legal agreement with any of them?”
•Verbal Agreements:
If the lead answers no to the signed agreement, ask:
“Did you have any kind of verbal agreement with any of these attorneys that they would work on your case?”
2. If the Lead Answered Yes
If the lead confirms they had a signed contract or verbal agreement with any attorney, proceed with the following steps:
1. Reason for Discontinuation:
Ask the lead:
“Why are you no longer working with this/these attorney(s)?”
