Effective immediately, we have revised our guidelines for Workers compensation leads.

Agents are now authorized to submit leads in the following scenarios:

• When the victim says that their company has covered medical expenses, including bills for physical therapy or chiropractic treatment.

For Example: The victim says that workers compensation paid for his surgery and physical therapy bills but he is out of work now and is seeking further financial assistance through workers comp. Earlier, we would disqualify such leads but we can submit them now as per the revised process.

• When victims state that they were on workers compensation, but either the compensation was insufficient or has stopped, and they express interest in seeking legal counsel to pursue proper compensation.

For Example:  The victim says that she was receiving weekly payments for worker’s compensation for some time but the payments have stopped but she has not recovered fully yet and is seeking further financial assistance through workers comp. Earlier, we would disqualify such leads but we can submit them now as per the revised process.

• When the victim has received compensation for lost wages related to a workplace injury.

For Example: The victim says that her company paid her lost wages for the injury but she is seeking further financial assistance through workers comp. Earlier, we would disqualify such leads but we can submit them now as per the revised process.

Please familiarize yourselves and the agents with these changes and incorporate them into your lead submission process accordingly.
